Catch Up With Summer
So in China, they blocked WordPress so I couldn’t blog about my trip. However I did keep a journal in a word document, but it went up to 15+ pages so that wouldn’t be very practical to share. Instead there are 213 pictures detailing my trip on my Flickr account

Then before I could fix my jet lag, I was rushed off to Yellowstone in a tour bus of 50 Asians driving the 24 hour trip from Dallas to Wyoming. This time I didn’t keep track of anything I did except with my trusty Nikon. Again with the 213 pictures, weird.

A few days later I attended Celebrate Freedom Concert 2008 hosted by 94.9 KLTY.

Then drove down to UT Austin for my summer orientation. Didn’t really take pictures, but just met people, chilled, and get owned by registration. Came back to Plano for July 4th and subsequent barbecue with Courtney’s adorable new puppy, Cotton.

Went to Lavon Lake with Eric to get some shots of the sunrise. We were lucky and got some gorgeous colors. The whole shore was covered in litter and bugs of all shapes and sizes… creepy.

Then on Friday I went to Six Flags to get pressured into riding roller coasters, but I only ended up riding the Superman, Runaway Mountain, and Tony Hawk Spin
I dunno why I’m so scared of roller coasters. I just don’t like seeing all the loops and stuff I’m gonna go through while strapped to a cart moving at however many mph. We also went to see Metro Station and Boys Like Girls perform. We got crappy seats.

Busy Week

2008 FACES World Fest

There was contemporary Indian dancing… shake that!

A gorgeous fashion show from around the world…

Traditional Mexican dancing…

A traditional Indian dance and lots more activities to raise money for UNICEF. Oh yea, I got a henna design on my hand thanks to the talented Kokila (=

I kinda messed it up cuz I kept accidentally touching things while the henna was still on my hand… n_n; but it’s pretty much faded now though )=
Compression kills my pictures ( ´Д`)

2008 TAMS Prom and AfterProm
I shaved my legs, the awesome Susie did my nails, I curled my hair (all by myself! omg), did my makeup, Nupur’s mother pinned me in my dress (thank youuu), then I hobbled downstairs in my painful (but supercute) heels, and drove 40 min to end up with this…

My lovely dress picked out by Jonathan and Tahmina <3

Our random humongous prom group

The gorgeous ladies of our group (yea we were pretty much the same shades)
You don’t wanna see me after dinner… I pretty much finished off my entire plate… Angela is a pig ~( ‘Θ’)

The newly crowned prom prince was so happy he did a backflip

Our group’s awesome after prom shirts. It says Senioritas on the front for the girls and Senioritos for the guys.
All in all it was a very tiring night since I was up from 9 AM to 6 AM running around nonstop. And I shall continue to run my ass around for another week in preparation for a Physics test on Monday. Ooh baby I am looking forward to graduation.
